Welcome to the website of Liberty Counseling and Wellness LLC ("Liberty Counseling and Wellness," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 2673 Green Pond Circle, Unit A, Conway, SC 29526. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of libertycounselingwellness.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Not a Substitute for Emergency Care

This Site is for general informational purposes only and does not provide medical or psychiatric emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988, available 24/7.

Submitting a contact form, sending an email, or leaving a voicemail through this Site does not create a client relationship and is not monitored in real time. Response times may vary, and messages sent outside of business hours may not be seen until the next business day.

2. No Client Relationship Formed Through the Website

Browsing this Site, filling out a contact form, or requesting information does not establish a therapist-client relationship. A client relationship begins only after formal intake is completed, informed consent is signed, and services are scheduled through our practice management system.

3. Telehealth Services

Liberty Counseling and Wellness may offer telehealth (video-based) sessions through our secure client portal. Telehealth is subject to separate informed consent, which is reviewed and signed by each client prior to the start of virtual services. Telehealth is not appropriate for crisis situations; see Section 1 above.

4. Scheduling, Intake, and Client Portal

Appointment requests, intake paperwork, and secure client communication are handled through our HIPAA-compliant electronic health record and client portal. Use of the client portal is subject to the portal provider's own terms of use, in addition to these Terms. Please review our appointment, cancellation, and late-cancellation policies, which are provided at intake and may result in a fee for missed or late-cancelled appointments.

5. Payments

Payments for services may be collected online or in person through our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card information on our systems. All charges are subject to the fee schedule and cancellation policy provided to you at intake.

6. Communications

By providing your phone number or email address, you consent to be contacted by our practice for appointment reminders, scheduling, and general communication purposes, including by phone, text message, or email. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us directly.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Liberty Counseling and Wellness LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Links

This Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Liberty Counseling and Wellness LLC. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
